These are the House Rules. I will post them in the order that they arise.
- Dwarves are not as long-lived in this world as they are in the sourcebook; they only live to be about 125 years old (often less), and reach adulthood by about age 25. This is to account for there being a dwarf in the party that isn’t decades older than the rest of the party. (Jeff’s decisions meaning the entire planet gets a retcon for dwarven aging).
- Falling Damage: The rulebook says you take 1d6 damage per 10 ft fallen, up to a maximum of 20d6. In my campaign, it is 1d6 damage per 10 ft fallen, until however-many-dice-it-takes for you to hit the ground. If this means you fell 25,000 feet, and thus have to roll 2500d6, then so be it.
- Shooting into melee: If you shoot into melee combat and miss by 5 or more, you have to roll against your ally’s’ AC. If you succeed on that attack roll, then congrats, you hit, but not the bad guy. If you have precise shot, then you have to miss by 7 or more to need to roll against your ally. If you have improved precise shot, only on a natural 1 do you need to worry about hitting your ally. (stolen from Brendan and slightly modified).
